R.E.S undertakes all aspects of disinfections on domestic water services. Working to ACOP L8/ BS8558, using Sodium Hypochlorite this is dosed to the concentration of 50ppm and pulled through to all outlets. After 1 hour contact time the levels are checked to ensure they have not dropped below 30ppm and then flushed out. Samples are taken for analysis.

Alternate chemcials like Silver Hydrogen Peroxide can be used as a disinfection which enables a safe and effective means without isolating any services. Also this is ideal if bio films are present as it is more effective at removing bio film were Chlorine is not.

 Furthermore, using Silver Peroxide at effective disinfection levels this product is completely safe to drink and is a non-intrusive way of treating domestic water systems in residential or commercial buildings.
